Estee Lauder Automatic Eye Pencil Duo- Review

Hello Beauties:)!!!
feels like iv been gone forever! my eyes havent been doing too well, they dry up like crazy so iv not been using the laptop.. anyway:)! im back with a bang and will stick around, pinkie promise:D
today's review is for a product i recently discovered, recently is 2 months ago by the way! my friend introduced me to this. iv never used anything from Estee lauder so this brand is new for me though iv heard great stuff about their foundations. i was all drool when i reached their store:P! there is so much i want to try from them!

WHAT ESTEE LAUDER CLAIMS
versatile,double-ended eyelining tool with twist up color on one side, a smudger on the other.
creamy formula creates a soft blendable line, everytime. color tip is always perfectly shaped, never needs sharpening.

  • Dermatologist-tested
  • Ophthalmologist-tested
  • Suitable for contact lens users

 MY TAKE-
Iv never been a fan of retractable pencils due to my bad experiences with maybelline colossal kajal and chambor eyeliner pencil, but i have no regrets with this. i twisted it in and out a couple times to check and its working just fine. I have this pencil in JET BLACK. i love the packaging, its super gorgeous, so sleek and classy, its easy to apply, travel friendly and light weight. i like the fact that the smudger is soft and doesnt hurt my eyelid when i attempt to use it. i have very sensitive eyes, this doesnt make them water or irritate them. but yes my favorite part would be the refill it comes with!!!!! its so cool, u can have one pen and different colored refills, that way u have a variety of colors to chose from. i bought it mainly for the purpose of lining my eyes.

                                                                      single swatch

PROS-
  • Smooth and creamy, glides on easily.
  • u dont have to worry about sharpening it.
  • comes with a refill.
  • comes with a smudger.
  • pigmentation is good.
  • availability of nice colors.
  • stays on the upper lid for a decent amount of time
CONS-
  • it stays for barely half an hour on the lower lashline before it begins to disappear. so u need to set it with a powder eye shadow.
  • the pigmentation could be better.
  • not water resistant which is a sign of a so-so eyeliner/eyepencil.
  • staying power is not great either.
  • u may need to reapply through the day
FINAL JUDGEMENT-
i say u give this product a miss, i would not call it pricey if it stayed on but what is  an eye pencil if it doesnt manage to stay put throughout the day? but if u like a natural looking eyeliner and soft looks, u can give this a try.. as for me, il use it for my upper lid and set it with shadow so i dont have to re apply thorugh the day

PRICE-
1375 INR

  2. I like thIs eyeliner because it doesn't irritate my eyes and looks very natural. It does come off the lower lash line easily. The Estée Lauder foundation is pretty good!
